Jobs is a biopic about Steve Jobs and his early years and how he came to create Apple and all the struggle etc involved in it. Ashton Kutcker played Steve Jobs in it. And he was kinda in between, and by that I mean there were some aspects where he worked well, like his mannerism and body language. But at the same time, especially in more dramatic scenes, he just came off as trying too hard failed to make you believe you're watching Steve Jobs. And it was off-putting. The rest of the cast mostly worked well in their roles though.
I really like watching biopics which show how popular people reached their success, what was it like in earlier years, their hardships etc. And in that respect, I kinda enjoyed that part of the movie. BUT Many of the stuff was really rushed and the movie wasn't sure how to portray Jobs correctly. It couldn't find a balance between showing him a as a dick or this genius entrepreneur. And resulted it in a bit of a mess, where you're like why is this guy even considered great.
Also, it was edited poorly. Different events of his life seemed to have been filmed and stitched together without any major thought given to them, resulting in a loss of flow. Major events happen but you don't properly feel them. There wasn't any proper momentum gain, giving some payoff or stuff. The movie definitely tried to make you feel like that but its direction and editing was working against it. Also, tons of earlier stuff was really rushed.
Nice soundtrack though. The songs and stuff used felt good.
A mostly failed attempt at making a biopic of Steve Jobs. Wasn't a full shitty film like many have portrayed it to be, but it isn't a good film either.
