Kubo and the Two Strings is a stop motion animated film from the studio Laika, and is about a boy who must go on this journey to acquire a special magical armor in order to defeat the forces of evil. I'm deliberately not putting more in the synopsis since I believe this movie is best watched with as little knowledge as possible, and hence why I'll keep this review short as well.   From start to finish, this was a beautiful, heartfelt, entertaining, often really hilarious, and a magical journey. It's an adventure movie that really reels you in with the aspect of adventure. The world/setting was really interesting, and the mythos, the legends, the stories etc all kept adding to the experience. Just the type of adventure I love.  Kubo was a great character. You feel and root for him throughout. And the supporting characters were just as great if not better. Their relationship with each other, and the way it progresses, was so sweet. The Legend of Tarzan is an action adventure film based on the iconic character, Tarzan. Not a huge fan or anything, but I have enjoyed the character and his tale in the Disney animated film when I was young. The other live versions, however, sucked. So I didn't really know what to expect from this film, but I was pleasantly surprised.  The thing I liked the most was how they didn't just remade his origin story as the whole movie, but actually told a tale years later. That, from the get-go, hooked me in. Tarzan is settled in England, with Jane, but due to some events happening in his home, he has to go back. And while the story had its issues, it was decent enough that I wanted to see what will happen next. You do get some of the backstory via flashbacks, which were pretty good. Alexander Skarsgard was a great casting choice as Tarzan. He felt like Tarzan, and he definitely, DEFINITELY looked the part. Margot Robbie as Jane was pretty good as well. She looked gorge...

The first part was a surprisingly entertaining film. And I was really looking forward to watching this. The movie starts off right from where the last part left off. The team is out of the maze and are with a group that opposes WCKD. While the first part was more mystery and stuff, this is a more adrenaline-filled action packed entry. The acting felt improved from the last part. So was the cinematography, movie was well shot. The CGI was good, for the most part, too. The Wasteland looked great. And I loved the infected. They really reminded me of the infected from The Last of Us. Same vibes and had similar degree of infection. And scenes involving them were thrilling. Now, the first half of the movie was honestly great. The action was great, the pacing was adrenaline pumping, the escape sequences were well shot and handled and it was just plain entertaining to see the destroyed world and the team trying to survive in it. This is a Hack'n Slash game starring WAR, one of the legendary four horsemen of the apocalypse. A mishap causes Earth to be ravaged by war between heaven and hell and WAR is betrayed in the event resulting him to go on a quest for revenge and find the truth about the betrayal. The narrative was cliched and felt like your typical hack'n slash scenario. I still liked the whole premise though. WAR itself was a decent character to helm and he was voiced by the same actor who voiced Gaara in Naruto, so that was awesome. Along our journey, we meet several characters, some were good and well acted. The game pulls a God of War II at the beginning, stripping our hero of all of his godly powers and leaving him as a weak, broken being. We go on a long quest to regain the power, slowly, and ultimately take revenge. Seems kinda a familiar doesn't it. Well, the game HEAVILY borrows from God of War franchise, and I do mean that. Darksiders 2 takes place parallel to the events of the previous part. This time, we get to play as another one of the four horsemen, 'Death'. He goes on a personal mission to prove his brother War's innocence and resurrect humanity. Things I liked: Death was a cool and badass character and his development was better that War's. The combat was more refined from the previous part. Fast, fluid, responsive and fun. Liked the abilities upgrade and the fact that you can remove it all and do it again for experimentation, for a small fee. I eventually stayed with the necromancer side. Summoning minions and crows just felt really good and suited my gameplay style. RPG elements in the game made for a nice addition. NPCs dialogue wheel, side quests and tons of customization for character stats. The pacing of the game was far better than the last part. The opening of the game was great. Everyone's favourite panda is back in this third installment of Kung Fu Panda franchise. Can't believe that first part came out in 2008. The story continues off from where part 2 ended, Po's father finally meets up with his son and teaches him to be a real panda in a secret panda village all the while there is a new baddie who is collecting chi of all the warriors and it is upto Po and company to stop him. With such a huge amount of talent behind the characters, voice acting was again superb. And we get introduced to even more talent in the form of Bryan Cranston who voices Po's dad and J.K Simmons who voices the villain Kai. The flow of the movie, like the previous parts, was fast paced, fun and highly entertaining. And all the while the movie managed to fit in some emotional moments, just like the previous parts. The father dynamic was handled really well. It made for some really funny as well as emotional scenes, especially owing to the fact that Po had two dads...
